Childcare

Oakwood Athletic Club welcomes you and your children to Childcare. Our Childcare facility is open to members   Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, Saturday 7:30 am to 7:30 pm, and Sunday 7:30 am to 7:00 pm.

In order to provide excellent service to all Oakwood members with children, Childcare services are offered on a reservation system for children 6 weeks to 12 years. Call Childcare directly at 962-6200 or Oakwood Front Desk at 283-4000.

The main area of Childcare is designated for children walking through 12 years old. There are a wide variety of activities for your children's entertainment and growth while in our care. Activities include bowling, parachute play, arts and craft projects, coloring, painting, building blocks, puzzles, playdough, a puppet theater, and much more!

Our Junior Room is designed specifically for children ages 6 years and older. There are related board games, video games, movies, and a quiet atmosphere to relax after school to unwind and complete their homework. The Junior Room is open Monday through Friday 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and on Saturday and Sunday 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Our Baby Room is designed for infants six weeks to walking. The Baby Room is filled with toys that are geared towards infants, including exersaucers, swings, and bouncy seats. Staff will entertain your little ones in this safe and cozy environment. Our room has rocking chairs and soothing lullabies for staff to put your little ones to sleep. The Baby Room opens upon the arrival of your little one.

Due to the nature of our service being an unlicensed Childcare versus a day care facility, parents must remain on the premises at all times, and it is recommended that children are not left for more than two and one half hours. For safety and liability reasons, members may only check in and out their own children. This includes grandparents and relatives.
